Bloembox Tiny Tin Edibles

Tiny Tins from Bloembox are another beautful way to give the gift of flowers. Each tin bears a silk flower version of the seeds inside. This special collection is all edible flowers - calendula, cornflower, marigold, nasturtium, apricot stock, and viola.

From the Bloembox founder, botanist Laura Quatrochi, "enjoy the saffron-like flavor of orange Calendula petals in soups, rice and salads; the peppery, tangy flavor of Nasturtium flowers and leaves in salads and sandwiches; the spicy, clove-like flavor of blue Cornflower in fresh fruit salads; the spicy, bright yellow petals of Marigold on fresh lettuce salads and soups; the sweet to spicy petals of Apricot Stock on salads and cakes; and the mild wintergreen flavor of Viola flowers on cakes and in cold beverages."

Each window-topped tin is filled with seed and growing instructions. The tin includes a gift tag, and the band around the tin sports Bloembox's theme: "Happiness held is a seed. Happiness shared is a flower."
