It is easy to use, and provides month by month information in well organized categories - birds to look for, the correct birdseed and suet to use to attract which birds, advice on which nectars or fruit to use, how to best provide water and shelter, and what to do to improve their habitat that month. It is of course filled with wonderful photographs of many bird species, and provides valuable information concerning different regions as well. There are even tips on how to get your children involved, and a special place for your notes each month on birds you were able to observe.

For the Birds would make a wonderful gift, and is especially nice accompanying a bird feeder, house or bath.
