Hanging Squirrel Baffle for Birdfeeders

Squirrels eating all your birdseed? There are a few ways to remedy this. One idea is to move the feeder to a place at least 6 feet away from any trees or fences or other structure that a squirrel can climb. This isn't possible for all bird enthusiasts, so a squirrel baffle is the next best way to go.

This baffle is a high strength clear polycarbonate plastic, with two hooks. One hook attaches to the top and you hang this from a tree branch, plant bracket or shepards hook. The other hook screws into the underside of your baffle, and you hang your birdfeeder from that hook. The slippery, sloped surface of the baffle will tilt once the weight of a squirrel hits it, and he will fall to the ground.
